Need for Speed: Most Wanted ( NFS: MW ) is a video game racing multiplayer platform, developed by EA Black Box and first released by Electronic Arts to market the United States on 15 November 2005 . It's part of the game series Need for Speed . The game reintroduces chases with the police as the main focus on the style of game-oriented illegal racing , with some (but not all) customization options from the series Need for Speed: Underground . The game is followed by Need for Speed: Carbon , which is a sequel to Most Wanted .
Most Wanted was launched for PCs based on Windows , PlayStation 2 , Nintendo GameCube , Xbox , Xbox 360 (as a launch title), Game Boy Advance , Nintendo DS and mobile phones . Another version of Most Wanted, titled Need for Speed: Most Wanted: 5-1-0 has been launched for the PlayStation Portable .
'Black Edition' collector's edition of Most Wanted , was released in celebration of the anniversary of the series Need for Speed the 10th and in conjunction with the launch of Most Wanted . The Black Edition features additional races, bonus cars and other additional content. The Black Edition also comes with a DVD special contains interviews and videos about the game. Black Edition was released for the PC, PlayStation 2 and Xbox in the United States and Australia; [1] only the PlayStation 2 version was released for the European market. [2] [1]
StoryLine
The player arrives in Rockport City , out of the underground world of illegal racing, the car BMW M3 GTR modified. Following Mia Townsend (actor: Josie Maran ), the player proves his driving skills while he is pursued by a veteran police officer named Cross (actor: Dean McKenzie ), who vows to catch the player. [3]
Most seem to be leading the race in favor of the players until a group of illegal racers, led by the main antagonist named Clarence "Razor" Callahan (actor: Derek Hamilton ), sabotage the player's car and seized the car BMW 's. [4] [5] Without a car to escape, Player is arrested by Cross, but is later released due to insufficient evidence. [6] as well as Mia takes players to inform players about Razor's new status in the Black List (a group of drivers most wanted Rockport Police Department). He then helps the players to help get a new car and a place in the Blacklist. One by one defeated opponents, promising reputation and a better car to beat them. Mia also provides a base for resting players entered each time a new district, in exchange for the "side bets" on the player entered the race.
The final challenge for the top of the Blacklist focused on the race between players with Razor, with the player is the winner, allowing it to reclaim the car BMWnya. When Razor refuses to return the car ownership [7] and attacks Mia [8] , who took the keys from him, Mia reveals her real identity as an undercover police officer. Mia throws the car keys to the player, and tells the player to escape from a group of police came. Razor arrested while the player was struck by all the police in the Rockport Police Department under the direction of Cross [9] . The player manages to escape from the Cross and leave the Rockport City by launching BMWnya car to jump across a long bridge that is not completed, as indicated by Mia during last phone call. [10]
After the player's escape, Cross brings record player offense and add his name to the National Most Wanted List. In addition to Razor, all other drivers blacklisted arrested with the "help" of the player. [11]
